Trick-or-Treat!
Here are a few pictures of my babies on Halloween night. They went trick-or-treating with their cousins as they do every year. It's a tradition we just can't do away with- even when Halloween falls on a.... MONDAY. (yuck)
Aria was a pretty ninja and Cole was a character named Trunks from Dragon Ball Z Kai.
Love it!

I did it!
Ok-- yesterday was the big day…. The WHM to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. I ran the entire 13.1 miles with only one stop to use the restroom right around mile 2 (darn pre-race coffee!). I kept going even when I wanted to stop, telling myself the whole way, “You can DO this! Pain is momentary but pride lasts a lifetime!” I was so encouraged by all of the women (and the few men running for their women) that surrounded me. All of the t-shirts, signs, cheer-leaders, high-fivers, and the PINK that surrounded me was so inspiring. It is something I think everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. It was all for my mother-in-law and breast cancer research, but I got so much out of it! This is one of my greatest accomplishments!

Today I will be preparing for a big day tomorrow... the Women's Half Marathon to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure! I am so very excited! I hope I will be able to sleep tonight because I have to wake up and be at the event at 4AM, fed, and ready to run by 6AM! I raised almost $300 for the cure, in honor of my mother-in-law Mary Alice, now I hope I can honor her even more so by finishing the race! I also hope and pray we will all be safe running in the rain- something I wasn't expecting to have to deal with! Oh well- we will run on! I can't wait!

Party Hardy!
This year’s party was a blast! We had a great turn out and everyone had so much fun- especially us! In fact, Greg and I are talking about making it an annual event!
I would love to post some more pictures from the party, but I still can’t figure out how to turn my pictures around! URG! (Hopefully I’ll figure it out soon!) More to come!
Greg and I had fun with our costumes. This year will probably be most memorable as it was the year Greg had me pierce his ear for his costume- Mr. Clean! Of course it was closed up by the next day, but really!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!
For most- it’s Christmas- but Fall is my most favorite time of the year! I love all of the fun and fantasy that Halloween brings… the costumes and decorations and seeing my friends and family (of all ages) dress up and act like kids. It’s a blast! Of course it can get a little crazy- with costume making and party planning, but it’s all worth it! Here are some of my favorite pictures of the kids from Halloweens past!

No Coley tonight :o(
Tonight we were a one-child family for the first time in.... what? 9-and-a-half years?? Cole spend the night at a friend's house and Aria had us all to herself. She spent some time on the computer, with me standing by to help, working on a special project for her "BCF" (best cousin friend) for her birthday. Of course it's 2 months away- but we're teaching her how NOT to procrastinate. All the while, I was finishing her Halloween costume and Daddy was working in the yard. Then we three convened in the kitchen to make breakfast for dinner and had a great time! I think every kid should have alone time with their parents. It was a special night!
